Teri Hatcher to host celebrity auction and yard sale

Ever wanted to own something that previously belonged to a celebrity?

Teri Hatcher’s celebrity yard sale and auction on Saturday offers up that chance. Hatcher is to preside over the sale of new and used items from stars includng Ellen DeGeneres, Portia de Rossi, Vanessa Williams, Al Pacino, Jason Alexander, Ray Romano, Katey Sagal and more. Proceeds are earmarked for the Juvenile Arthritis Assn.

The event is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Americana at Brand, 889 Americana Way, Glendale. There’s an entry fee of $25, which includes food, drinks, kids activities and live music.

Hudson Jeans and Scoop NYC are teaming up for an evening of shopping and refreshments hosted by Molly Sims from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday, with 10% of the proceeds slated for One Voice. The event will be at Scoop, 216 26th St., Brentwood. RSVP to RSVP@hudsonjeans.com.

Nordstrom stores are hosting bra-fittings on Friday and Saturday with fit specialists to help women find the styles that are best for them. For every bra sold during the two days, Nordstrom has pledged to donate $2 to the Young Survival Coalition, a charity that works with young survivors of breast cancer.

Model Heidi Klum is scheduled to make an appearance at the Grove at 10:30 a.m. on May 1 on behalf of Clear Scalp & Beauty Therapy. The event, which is to include a photo booth and other activities, will be in the park at the Grove, 189 the Grove Drive, Los Angeles.

Trunk Shows

Designer Cynthia Vincent is slated to make a personal appearance and style customers at a trunk show from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday at the Closet at Fred Segal, 500 Broadway, Santa Monica.

Twelfth St. by Cynthia Vincent will host a three-day sample sale from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday through Friday at the Cooper Building, 860 S. Los Angeles St., Ste. 422, in downtown L.A.

Wig designer Flora Shepelsky has opened the first West Coast location of Design by Flora, at 300 S. La Brea Ave., Los Angeles. (Other shops are in NYC and New Jersey.)
