Proenza Schouler First Collection lands at Barneys New York

Share

Proenza Schouler designers Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez are celebrating 10 years in business by reissuing their first runway collection from fall 2003 at Barneys New York, their first retailer.

The looks, available now at Barneys in New York and Beverly Hills, are as relevant today as they were back then, and many of the signatures Jack and Lazaro established in that first collection (bustier tops, strong outerwear, etc.) are still present in their work.

Pieces in the Proenza Schouler First Collection include a $350 black, long-sleeve tissue T-shirt, a $1,385 satin bustier, a $3,850 belted camel-colored suede coat and a $4,850 white crackled leather jacket with fur collar.

Slight updates were made to the collection, including tweaking the fits and adding more luxurious trim.

You can shop the collection at the Barneys New York website.
