Want to go to London for ‘Game of Thrones’ pop-up banquet? Of course you do

All men must dine.

That’s the name of a new “Game of Thrones”-themed restaurant that’s popping up in London over Valentine’s Day weekend.

“Game of Thrones” fans can enter a contest to win two seats to attend the three-day Westeros-themed event by going to the HBO website and very cleverly answering the question, “Who is your favorite ‘Game of Thrones’ character, and what would you cook to win their heart?”

Wow, that’s a tough one. Kraken calamari? Dragon egg soup?

Caterers the Wandering Chef and Grosvenor Mixologists have put together the menu for three “All Men Must Dine” banquets that will take place from Friday to Sunday at the Andaz hotel in Liverpool Street. Twelve contest entrants and their guests will be chosen for each feast.

“Throughout the evening, guests will sample the finest delicacies Westeros has to offer over multiple courses, accompanied by a carefully selected drinks menu of cocktails fit for a King,” according to the HBO website.

One of the highly creative dishes? “The Lies of Tyrion Lannister and His Proclaimed Innocence,” which is composed of poached veal tongue with beetroot, horseradish and Oldtown Mustard.

The feasts are being held to celebrate and promote the release of “Game of Thrones” Season 4 on DVD and Blu-ray.

Unfortunately, many feasts on “Game of Thrones” don’t end well. (Just ask Rob Stark.) However, these should be all right — as long as they don’t serve pigeon pie.
