Watch out, Starbucks, Umami Burger has a pumpkin spice latte burger

Umami Burger has decided to get in on the pumpkin spice latte craze with its own version of the beloved Starbucks holiday drink. Only the Umami latte comes with a beef patty and a bun. And no latte.

The Umami Pumpkin Spice Latte Burger comes topped with garlic aioli, tempura kabocha, spiced mascarpone and a coffee glaze. It’s available now at all participating Umami Burger locations for $12.

That’s $8 more than it will cost you to get a Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte (PSL).

The burger comes with a little attitude. On the Umami Burger website, the company points out that many pumpkin spice products don’t contain any pumpkin.

“The lattes are made with a flavored goop, the candles are just scented wax, and don’t even get us started on “pumpkin” Oreos,” reads the site.

There may be real pumpkin on the burger, but it’s a little disappointing they couldn’t figure out how to incorporate a little whipped cream topping on there too. For the hardcore PSL fans.
