Free cupcakes: Georgetown Cupcake opens on Saturday
- Share via
When it comes to cupcakes, there’s no shortage of the sugary treats in Los Angeles. We’ve got Sprinkles – now with a 24-hour cupcake ATM – and BabyCakes, Erin McKenna’s vegan cupcakes. There’s also Vanilla Bakeshop, SusieCakes, Big Man Bakes and Magnolia, just to name a few.
Now joining in on the “cupcake craze” action is East Coast cupcakery Georgetown Cupcake. Co-founders and sisters Sophie Kallinis LaMontagne and Katherine Kallinis Berman will be opening up shop in Los Angeles on Saturday.
The shop will be celebrating its grand opening at the Robertson Boulevard location by handing out free cupcakes, one per person, from noon to 9 p.m. on Saturday.
There are more than 100 cupcake flavors on the bakery’s rotating menu, including lemon blossom, red velvet and salted caramel, with 18 different flavors served every day. Regular store hours are 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday.
