It’s spring, which means ... it’s time for Tomatomania!

Share

Gardeners have been patiently waiting for this moment in time.

Some call it the start of spring. The rest of us call it the start of tomato season.

Tomatomania, which bills itself as the world’s largest heirloom tomato seedling sale, is back with a pop-up next month at Descanso Gardens.

Expect all kinds of gardening advice on harvesting bigger and better crops, tips on container gardening and seedlings for sale, along with the inside track on in-demand varieties.

And yes, of course, tomato grower extraordinaire Scott Daigre, author of “Tomatomania,” will be there.
