The final week of the 2008 Cannes Film Festival -- highlighted by the star-studded amFAR Cinema Against AIDS gala - was an ongoing runway of international designers worn by A-list actresses.

From the “Changeling” and “Che” premieres to the Chopard and amFAR Cinema Against AIDS extravanganzas, stylish stars such as Madonna, Gwyneth Paltrow, Angelina Jolie, Christina Ricci, Rose McGowan, Eva Herzigova, Natalie Portman, Sharon Stone and Salma Hayek showed off the latest couture creations from Dolce & Gabbana, Lanvin, Givenchy, Bottega Venata, Dior, Cavalli, and Chanel.

And then there was the annual ultimate Cannes interloper, this year being the omnipresent Star Jones, who - and we hate to admit this - actually looked (gulp) hot in some of her free designer duds. Okay, maybe hot is too strong a word. How about lukewarm?

But strangely, no bragging press releases were sent out with fashion credits for Star’s gowns, shoes, purses and jewelry.

Maybe that should tell her something.

Just saying.
