Palisades (2-2, 1-0) only lost six games in sweeping its doubles match in the victory over the Comets.Simone Greene defeated Contessa Brown, 8-4, in a No. 1 singles match in the loss for Westchester (2-2, 0-1).

Venice 7, L.A. University 0
The No. 3 doubles team of Lindsey Cohen and Leslie Quintanilla won, 8-0, to lead Venice (4-0) in the league opener for both teams. Venice also had No. 3 singles player Kristi Hamilton win, 8-2, and No. 4 singles player Lauren Yoshikawa triumph, 8-1. University falls to 1-1, 0-1.
