Sheriff’s investigation: In the Aug. 4 Section A, an article about the Los Angeles County sheriff’s inspector general calling for greater access to deputies’ personnel records said that interim Sheriff John L. Scott could not be reached for comment. No attempt to reach Scott was made.

Loire bike tour: An Aug. 3 Travel section article on a bike tour in France referred to TGV high-speed train service from Gare d’Austerlitz to Orléans. There is no TGV service between those two places. The Gare d’Austerlitz-to-Orléans trip was via a conventional Intercity rail line.

FICO scores: An Aug. 9 article in the Business section about new rules for FICO credit ratings referred to the score’s creator as Fair Isaacs Corp. It is Fair Isaac Corp.

Henry Stone: In the Aug. 12 LATExtra section, a brief obituary of music producer Henry Stone said that one of his early hits was “Heart of Stone” by Otis Williams and the Charms. The single was titled “Hearts of Stone” and recorded when the band was known simply as the Charms.
