Ebola in Dallas: In the Oct. 9 Section A, a photo caption with an article about the death of Ebola victim Thomas Eric Duncan said that a Dallas County sheriff’s deputy hospitalized for observation had been exposed to Duncan. In fact, as the article correctly said, the sheriff’s deputy had come in contact with Duncan’s relatives.

Doc Rivers: In the Oct. 9 Sports section, a column about Clippers Coach Doc Rivers and his healing leadership in the aftermath of the controversy with former owner Donald Sterling referred to retired Ducks player Teemu Selanne as one of the more popular players in NFL history. Selanne played in the NHL.

Lawsuit over student schedules: In the Oct. 9 LATExtra section, an article about a court order to help students at Jefferson High identified attorney Mark Rosenbaum as the director of Public Counsel. He is director of Opportunity Under Law.

Academy website: An article in the Oct. 9 Calendar section about the redesign of Oscars.org said the website was built with the help of Burbank marketing agency Trailer Park. Trailer Park’s headquarters is in Hollywood.
