“Love Goes to Buildings on Fire”: In the Dec. 23 Calendar section, a review of Will Hermes’ book “Love Goes to Buildings on Fire” said that on the night of New York City’s blackout in 1977, Bruce Springsteen was in the studio recording “Born to Run.” Springsteen was working on “Darkness on the Edge of Town.”

Reissued albums: In the Dec. 27 Calendar section, an article about 10 essential albums reissued during 2011 misspelled the name of L’Orchestre Kanaga de Mopti as L’Orchestra Kanaga de Mopti.

Santa Claus portrayals: In the Dec. 25 Image section, an article about how Santa Claus has been portrayed in the movies said that in 1983’s “Trading Places,” Dan Aykroyd ate a stolen ham. The stolen food was a piece of smoked salmon.
