Young immigrants: An article in the Aug. 15 Section A about a government program to help young illegal immigrants gain legal work status said that application forms must be mailed to centers in Laguna Niguel; Dallas; Burlington, Vt.; or Lincoln, Neb. The correct locations are Phoenix, Dallas or Chicago, depending on the applicant’s home address.

Irving Fein: The heading on the obituary for Irving Fein in the Aug. 15 LATExtra section gave an incorrect year of birth for the Hollywood publicist. Fein was born in 1911, not 2011.

Helen Gurley Brown: The obituary of longtime Cosmopolitan editor Helen Gurley Brown in the Aug. 14 Section A referred to Betty Friedan’s groundbreaking 1963 book as “The Feminist Mystique.” The title is “The Feminine Mystique.”

Sibling design teams: In the Aug. 12 Image section, an article about sisters in the fashion business said that designer Hali Thornhill had worked for a Canadian jewelry firm called Burke’s. The correct spelling is Birks.

City football coaches: An article in the Aug. 13 Sports section said that Dorsey High football teams coached by Paul Knox had won three Los Angeles City Section championships. Knox’s teams have won four championships: in 1989, 1991, 1995 and 2001.

Olympics: A chart of Olympic medal winners with ties to Southern California in the Aug. 13 London 2012 section listed swimmer Jason Lezak’s affiliation with Southern California as UCLA. He attended UC Santa Barbara.
