Military mansions: A pentagon report cited in an article in the July 21 Section A about houses provided to U.S. generals and admirals misstated the termination date of two military leases in Italy. The lease for Villa de Iorio will be canceled next month, not next May. The lease for Villa Anna will be canceled this fall, not in 2014, according to Anthony Cooper, a spokesman for the Navy’s Installation Command. In addition, the article implied that Rear Adm. Robert Burke, the commander of Submarine Group 8, was living in Villa de Iorio. He was living in an apartment. Also, Villa de Iorio was misspelled as Villa de Lorio.

Herbalife investor: In the July 27 Business section, an article about hedge-fund manager Bill Ackman’s decision to short Herbalife stock said that Ackman’s Pershing Square Capital Management has more than $13 million under management. The firm has more than $13 billion under management.

Chinatown: In the July 27 Section A, an article about changes in L.A.’s Chinatown said that George Yu was the president of Chinatown’s business improvement district; Yu is the vice president and executive director. The article also said that a new restaurant, Chego, took over a space formerly occupied by Mandarin Deli; the deli was in an adjacent storefront.

Dance program: An article about the National Choreographers Initiative in the July 24 Calendar section described the initiative as a UC Irvine event. Although the university provides rehearsal space, the event is overseen by an outside advisory committee in partnership with UCI and the Irvine Barclay Theatre.
