Robert Butler: An article in the Jan. 19 Calendar section about TV director Robert Butler says that UCLA Film & Television Archive’s “An Evening With Robert Butler” will be Jan. 23 at the Billy Wilder Theater. The event will take place the evening of Jan. 24. The error was discovered after the section went to press.

“Sherlock”: An article in the Jan. 18 Calendar section previewing the new season of the television show “Sherlock” misspelled the last name of the show’s creator Steven Moffat as Moffatt.

Deportation cases: In the Jan. 16 LATExtra section, an article about prosecutorial discretion in deportation cases said that U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, or ICE, had announced in November that close relatives of military service members and veterans could apply for temporary reprieves from deportation. The announcement came from U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services.

Spanish-language books: In the Jan. 12 Section A, an article about the market for Spanish-language books referred to Libros Schmibros as a used-book store. Although it identifies itself as a “lending library and bookshop,” it does not sell books but only lends them. Also, the caption on an accompanying photograph identified a Libros Schmibros intern as a customer.

Solar outlook: In the Jan. 12 Section A, an article about a slowdown in the development of solar power plants misidentified a Los Angeles firm that arranges financing for renewable energy projects. It is Winston and Strawn, not Winstong and Strawn.

Boston bombings: An article in the Jan. 12 Section A about families affected by the Boston Marathon bombings said that brothers Paul and J.P. Norden each lost a portion of their left legs. It was their right legs that were injured.

Library hours: A brief article in the Jan. 12 California section about nine Los Angeles public libraries opening on Sundays said that all 64 branch libraries are open Mondays through Saturdays. The Robertson branch is closed on Saturdays and open the other six days of the week.
