When in Ventura, put down the fork
I was very disappointed with “Chic Touches, Hold the Hassle” [Weekend Escape, April 10]. I feel author Nicholas Riccardi has done a disservice to Ventura. It seems he was more worried about what to eat and missed out on what Ventura really has to offer. We have some of the best antique stores to be found anywhere. In fact, many of our tourists and celebs come here for our low prices. After all, eating isn’t the most important thing to do.
