3-month-old boy found dead in crib in Van Nuys; police investigating

Police are investigating the death of 3-month-old boy who was found dead in Van Nuys early Monday.
The baby was found in his crib in the 7400 block of Woodman Avenue at around 4:20 a.m. and was pronounced dead at the scene, Los Angeles police said.
The LAPD’s Abused Child Unit is investigating the death, but police said it’s standard procedure because of the boy’s age.
