Dramatic images of protesters closing down L.A. freeway

Authorities said the protests over the Michael Brown killing in Los Angeles were largely peaceful. But some protesters did get onto the 110 Freeway near Pico Boulevard late Monday, shutting the highway down in both directions./p>
Demonstrators also tried to close the 10 Freeway at La Brea Avenue, but California Highway Patrol officers pushed them off the road. In Oakland, protesters closed the 580 Freeway for some time
