Boy, 14, dies after gang stabbing in Santa Ana, police say

A 14-year-old boy died from stab wounds early Saturday, hours after gang members allegedly attacked him in Santa Ana, police said.

Officers were dispatched to the 600 block of South Townsend Street about 7:20 p.m. Friday, said Santa Ana police Cmdr. Eric Paulsen. There, officers found the teenager with multiple stab wounds to his upper torso, he said.

Paramedics rushed the victim to a hospital where he died at about 3 a.m., Paulson said. No arrests have been made and the investigation into the incident is continuing.
