A 2-year-old girl who was allegedly abducted by her parents during a custody hearing Wednesday morning in Los Angeles County Superior Court was found late Wednesday night in Arizona, authorities said.

Mariah Salguero was recovered shortly around 11:45 p.m. after police in Goodyear, Ariz., outside Phoenix, acting on a lead, staked out a location near a residence and saw a woman walking up to a door with the child.

No one has been taken into custody and the girl’s parents were not at the location, according to Los Angeles police.

Police said the mother is Rosa Chavez and has red hair and brown eyes. She is about 5 feet 2 and weighs about 150 pounds.
