Join Times staff writer Anna Gorman on Wednesday morning at 9 a.m. for an L.A. Now Live discussion about shared medical appointments and their growth in popularity.

Gorman says they could be used more frequently under the healthcare overhaul.

Proponents say multipatient appointments are especially valuable in areas with physician shortages, but there is debate over the practice.
