Hiker finds dead body in Malibu Bluffs Park
A hiker found a dead body Tuesday morning in Malibu Bluffs Park, authorities said.
Detectives opened an investigation after the call came in about 9:10 a.m., said Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Deputy Juanita Navarro.
Based on the condition of the body, investigators were unable to determine the person’s identity, gender or cause of death, Navarro said. She would not elaborate.
Coroner’s officials are working to determine the cause of death.
