A man who barricaded himself inside a home in Pico Rivera caused a brief standoff with Los Angeles County sheriff’s SWAT officers Friday morning after authorities served a narcotics-related search warrant.

The standoff in the 4800 block of Grape Street started about 7 a.m. and ended a few hours later when SWAT officers stormed the house. They emerged a short time later with the man handcuffed.
