Three men allegedly stole a $1,000 Christmas tree on display in a Glendale parking structure, said police officials, who arrested one suspect.

Surveillance camera video shows three men loading the 7-foot artificial tree decorated with red, green and silver ornaments into the backseat of a Jaguar at 11:10 a.m. on Monday, said Glendale police spokeswoman Tahnee Lightfoot.

The tree was on display in a parking structure in the 400 block of North Brand Boulevard.

Police obtained the license plate number of the car from the surveillance video, which officers used to track down a 22-year-old Glendale man identified as Raffi Varosyan, Lightfoot told Times Community News.

Varosyan was arrested on suspicion of grand theft. The two other men allegedly involved in the theft have not been identified, and the tree has not been located.
