Suspect fatally shot by sheriff’s deputy in Vista
A man was shot to death Friday night in an apartment complex in Vista in a confrontation with a San Diego County sheriff’s deputy, officials said.
The incident occurred about 6:15 p.m. in the community in northern San Diego County.
The deputy was not injured, officials said.
The cause of the confrontation was not immediately released. The Sheriff’s Department alerted motorists to steer clear of the area while the investigation was underway.
