Earthquake: 3.2 quake strikes near Malibu
A shallow magnitude 3.2 earthquake was reported Thursday evening a mile from Malibu, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The temblor occurred at 10:57 p.m. Pacific time at a depth of 7.5 miles.
According to the USGS, the epicenter was six miles from Malibu Beach, nine miles from Agoura Hills, 10 miles from Agoura and 349 miles from Sacramento.
In the last 10 days, there has been one earthquake of magnitude 3.0 or greater centered nearby.
