Viral video: Reporter faints on live TV, keeps on reporting

Watch KUTV reporter Brooke Graham faint on live TV -- and then come to and finish her report on cross-country skiing.

We can laugh about this one because the Utah-based journalist was not injured when she keeled over into the snow and then woke up a YouTube sensation. “Don’t feel bad if it makes you giggle,” she says on her personal blog, explaining:

“I could feel myself getting lightheaded and tried to warn the producer that I was sick. After I went down I sat up and had no idea how long I had been out but saw the camera pointed at my face and decided to keep on talking!”

Talk about grace under pressure.

KUTV posted video of the incident on YouTube, where it has been viewed more than 4 million times, along with this comment:

“KUTV reporter Brooke Graham works six days a week and is one of our hardest workers. She is doing fine following this instance and has given us permission to post the video on her behalf. She is seeking medical attention to look into what caused her to pass out.”

Graham said on her blog that she is going to the doctor as a precaution, and explained she has a history of becoming lightheaded in cold conditions and at high altitudes.
