Authorities say a North Dakota man was drunk when he ran over two young brothers in a tent early Sunday, killing them.

Juan Acosta, 30, of Newburg has been charged with manslaughter, reckless endangerment, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and drunk driving, according to the Associated Press.

Juan Ruiz, 28, of Texas was camping with three children in a tent at the Hahn’s Bay campground at Lake Metigoshe. About 1 a.m., a pickup drove into the campsite and ran over the tent before crashing into a tree, the North Dakota Highway Patrol said.
