Ex-President George H.W. Bush had ‘good day’ but remains hospitalized
Former President George H.W. Bush will remain hospitalized in Texas overnight as a precaution, according to a statement from his office.
Bush, 90, was taken by ambulance to Houston Methodist Hospital as a precaution Tuesday night after experiencing shortness of breath.
Bush “had a good day” and his prognosis “remains positive,” the statement said.
This isn’t the first time Bush has been hospitalized during a holiday season. In November 2012, he went to Houston Methodist with a persistent cough. He developed a fever and stayed nearly two months.
