Suspect in North Carolina college shooting death arrested in Florida
The man wanted in the shooting death of the print shop director at a community college in North Carolina has been arrested in Florida.
Goldsboro Police Capt. Dwayne Dean said 20-year-old Kenneth Morgan Stancil III was arrested early Tuesday in Daytona Beach.
Dean said Stancil was arrested without incident. Beach patrol officers found him sleeping on the beach, a violation of a local ordinance.
Stancil is accused of shooting and killing Ron Lane at Wayne County Community College on Monday morning.
Dean said officials would work to have Stancil returned to North Carolina to face charges.
