Re “Amazon set to keep share of state sales tax,” May 20

To call what Amazon is getting a “rebate” is totally incorrect. A rebate is when you pay for something and get part of that back. Amazon has not payed those taxes; its customers have. A rebate would be if the customers got part of their money back.

This is just a rich corporation getting money for nothing.
