Re “Renewed push on economy,” Feb. 13

Re “Rubio trumpets GOP themes,” Feb. 13

I have seldom heard such drivel from a U.S. senator as I heard from Florida Republican Marco Rubio in response to Obama. He repeated every old Republican saw.

I once read a comment about the French royal family before the revolution: “They have learned nothing and forgotten nothing.” Today’s Republican Party is in that mold.
