Twihards may have to wait until June 30 to see “Eclipse,” the third “Twilight” movie, but they can sink their teeth into the film’s official soundtrack as early as June 8. The album is currently available for pre-order on Amazon.
Details are still being kept under wraps. No official soundtrack art has been released. Neither have artists or track names, though Atlantic Records is expected to make an official announcement soon.
The first “Twilight” soundtrack, which included a song by Robert Pattinson himself, debuted at number one on the Billboard charts. The second soundtrack, for “New Moon” went platinum. The “Eclipse” soundtrack is expected to be made up largely of original songs.
Since Pattinson already had his turn, and Kristen Stewart is featured on the soundtrack for her recent film “The Runaways,” perhaps it’s Taylor Lautner’s turn to sing for us?
