Dodgers injury report: Adrian Gonzalez scratched

OK, this is starting to strain anyone’s ability to laugh at adversity.
Adrian Gonzalez was a late scratch from the Dodgers lineup Saturday.
Gonzalez has what the Dodgers said was a small skin infection in his right leg. The Dodgers said he had been taken to the hospital, but he was expected back later and available to play during the game.
Jerry Hairston Jr. starts at first for Gonzalez, the only Dodger up until now to have started every game this season.
Manager Don Mattingly has already juggled his lineup, starting A.J. Ellis in the second spot with Mark Ellis out with a strained quad. Mattingly said he wanted A.J. Ellis, a right-handed hitter, between left-handed hitters Carl Crawford and Andre Ethier.
The full, rather unique lineup: Crawford (LF), A.J. Ellis (C), Ethier (RF), Matt Kemp (CF), Skip Schumaker (2B), Luis Cruz (SS), Juan Uribe (3B) and Matt Magill (P).
