Ducks slip in overtime against the Oilers, 3-2

Reporting from EDMONTON, Canada — Leon Draisaitl scored 3:16 into overtime and the Edmonton Oilers came away with a 3-2 victory over the Ducks on Saturday night.
Drake Caggiula and Ryan Nugent-Hopkins also scored for the Oilers, who have won two in a row. Jordan Eberle assisted on all three goals.
Ryan Kesler and Rickard Rakell scored for the Ducks, who had a three-game winning streak come to an end.
Anaheim’s John Gibson turned away 29 shots, and Cam Talbot stopped 31 for the Oilers.

Update: The Flames lost dynamic wing Johnny Gaudreau to a fractured finger in mid-November but have since won six of 10 games without their leading scorer from last season. Goalie Chad Johnson has taken over the starting role and is 7-2 with a career-high three shutouts in his past nine starts. The Ducks have won six straight in the series.
