The Ducks play their first game since General Manager Bob Murray issued a statement that quieted speculation about the near-future status of Coach Bruce Boudreau. They will try to build off positives from an 0-4-1 trip as they begin a stretch of six of seven games at home. Their goaltending and penalty-killing have been excellent, but the offense remains stalled and they’ve been outshot a combined 32-6 in the third period the last two games. “You want to win so bad that I think sometimes you’re just waiting for something to happen or you’re waiting to score instead of just going out and getting it,” Andrew Cogliano said. “And I think we’ve got to start being a little bit more aggressive in the third.” Nashville might start backup goalie Carter Hutton after Pekka Rinne played in a 4-3 overtime loss to the Kings on Saturday.
