NEXT UP FOR DUCKS: VS. ARIZONA

When: Monday, 7 p.m. PST.

On the air: TV: FS West; Radio: 830.

Update: The Ducks took Sunday off and it’s not known whether center Rickard Rakell is ready to skate with the team in his recovery from an upper-body injury. He’s day to day, and his return would further boost the Ducks as they go for their fifth consecutive victory after a 1-7-2 start. Backup goalie Anton Khudobin got an important spot-duty victory Saturday as the Ducks don’t want to overuse Frederik Andersen, especially during this run of six games in 10 days. When the Ducks played Arizona on Oct.14, they were disinterested and beaten by 20-year-old forwards Anthony Duclair and Max Domi, who scored all the goals on the strength of Duclair’s hat trick in a 4-0 victory. Arizona is 3-6-1 since.
