New York Jets cornerback Darrelle Revis fully participated in practice Friday for the first time since suffering a concussion three weeks ago. He’s listed as probable for the Jets’ game against the Tennessee Titans on Sunday.

“He still has to be cleared by one more doctor,” Coach Todd Bowles said. “Pending that clearance, he’ll be good to go.”

Revis has been in the NFL’s concussion protocol since the injury Nov. 22 at Houston. “If he passes the test, I’ll be encouraged,” Bowles said.

Revis didn’t wear a red no-contact jersey, as he did Thursday, when he said after practice that he expects to play. Last Friday, he attended meetings for the first time since the injury, and he gradually returned to the practice field this week. He attended on Wednesday, did light running and was limited Thursday.

Despite the Jets’ going 2-0 in his absence, Revis’ return will be a boost to the secondary.

“You’re still talking about one of the best corners in the game,” defensive coordinator Kacy Rodgers said Thursday. “Any time you can have him with you, you feel a lot better. We like any matchup he’s on.”

Giants cut Moore

The New York Giants have given up on talented but frustrating defensive end Damontre Moore.

General Manager Jerry Reese announced late Friday afternoon that the Giants had waived the 23-year-old former third-round draft pick.

“We made the move today in the interest of both parties,” Reese said just three days before the first-place Giants (5-7) face the Dolphins (5-7) in Miami.

Moore, who was not at practice Friday, was in his third season with the team and had played in 11 of the Giants’ 12 games. He was inactive against Dallas on Oct. 25 after Coach Tom Coughlin benched him for a late hit on a quarterback Sam Bradford in a loss to the Philadelphia Eagles the prior week.

The NFL fined Moore $20,000 for the hit. When he returned, he picked up roughing-the-quarterback penalties against the Saints and Buccaneers in consecutive weeks in early November, although it seemed those calls were based more on his reputation than actually being late hits.

Fines

Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown has been fined $11,576 by the NFL for jumping on the goal post while celebrating a touchdown. Brown returned a punt 71 yards for a score in the final minutes of Pittsburgh’s 45-10 rout of Indianapolis Sunday night, jumped on the goal post and slid down. He was penalized for unsportsmanlike conduct.

Steelers kicker Chris Boswell was fined $8,681 for unnecessary roughness after tackling the Colts’ Quan Bray on a return in the fourth quarter of the game. Giants guard Justin Pugh was docked $17,363 for a leg whip in the fourth quarter against the Jets. Tennessee tight end Phillip Supernaw was fined $8,681 for unnecessary roughness against Jacksonville.
