Football: Can Corona Centennial’s offense be even better in 2016?

Share

A year ago, Corona Centennial’s offense produced 3,805 yards passing and 3,894 yards rushing. That kind of balance made the Huskies unstoppable at times.

Can the Huskies be even better in 2016? The answer is yes.

The passing attack has more depth at receiver, with Xavier Marshall, Troy Spencer, Justin Fisher, Tyjon Lindsey and Manny Allen. Junior quarterback Tanner McKee, who’s 6 feet 6 and a three-sport athlete, is going to love the options he has.

At running back, Miles Reed showed glimpses of becoming a standout. The offensive line has two starters back, so that’s the only potential concern.

Otherwise, it’s full speed ahead for the Huskies, who figure to score lots of points.
