Up next for Kings: Sunday at Edmonton
Kings tonight
AT EDMONTON
When: 5 PST.
Where: Rexall Place.
On the air: TV: FS West; Radio: 1150.
Records: Kings 21-15-8 through Friday; Oilers 16-23-4.
Update: Edmonton’s promising start evaporated and the young Oilers are struggling, having lost five straight games. They opened the season with eight wins in their first 12 games and have won only eight games since Nov. 4 and two since Dec. 10. The injuries have been unrelenting. Of note, Ryan Nugent-Hopkins is out because of a separated left shoulder and Jordan Eberle remains sidelined because of an injured knee.
