Update: A five-match unbeaten streak has launched Chivas USA into the playoff discussion. Currently, Chivas sits 10th in the league, good for the final postseason slot. Facing Dallas to begin a five-game road stretch, every point Chivas can find will be crucial. Fortunately, forward Justin Braun is hot and the team is largely healthy. Braun notched his second hat trick of the season in a 3-0 victory over the Houston on July 23. If he can match Dallas forward Brek Shea’s output, Chivas should be in good shape. Shea is tied for second in MLS with nine goals.
