Update: The Ducks are near the bottom of the league in goals scored with 39 in 19 games. They scored 50 goals in the first 19 games of last season. They are 1-6-3 in their last 10 and have not won since offense-minded defenseman Lubomir Visnovsky suffered a broken finger. He has sat out the last three games. The Red Wings had lost five consecutive games on the road, breaking that run with a 4-1 victory against the Kings on Saturday at Staples Center.
