Tim Lincecum gets a haircut

If Tim Lincecum is related to Samson, we will find out soon enough.

After years of having long, flowing hair, the San Francisco Giants pitcher has gotten a haircut. Jake Gravbrot, a hair stylist in Seattle, tweeted the news Dec. 9 and there are various pictures on Twitter showing Lincecum with short hair.

Lincecum, of course, won two consecutive Cy Young Awards (2008-09) for the Giants after growing his hair long. He had an off season in 2012. Will he totally fall apart without the long hair?

Dodgers fans can only hope.
