Watch: Blake Griffin puts on a dunking show

Share

Never mind the knee surgery that Blake Griffin had over the summer. Let’s just say that it hasn’t slowed him down too much.

At an open Clippers practice at USC’s Galen Center on Wednesday evening, Griffin made sure to re-reserve his regular spot on “SportsCenter.”

Here’s a breakdown of our favorite dunks, which can be seen in the video above: On one play, he stole the ball, took it cross-court, then threw the ball off the glass and rebounded it with a two-handed jam. There was also a 360-degree spinning dunk and a one-handed jam.

Griffin sustained torn cartilage in his left knee on July 11, an injury that prevented him from participating in the London Olympics. He had surgery to deal with the problem on July 16.

The Clippers superstar said he’d be back at 100% by the time the NBA season began.

Based on the show he put on Wednesday, it seems fair to say that he wasn’t being overly optimistic.
