Live discussion: Rutgers reaction, Final Four preview

Times national college basketball writer Chris Dufrense and reporter Chris Foster will join host John Cherwa this morning at 11:30 to discuss the fallout from the Rutgers basketball scandal as well as talk about the NCAA tournament’s Final Four.

Rutgers fired Mike Rice as coach on Wednesday after ESPN aired video of his abusive behavior toward players. Part of the fallout has been Tim Penretti resigning as athletic director today.

Rice had been suspended for three games, fined $75,000 and ordered to attend anger management classes following an independent investigation last year.

The Final Four on Saturday will feature top-seeded Louisville taking on upstart Wichita State and Michigan playing Syracuse.

The winners meet Monday night in the national championship game.
