Update: The Bulls did the Lakers a favor Friday by beating Utah, 89-88. A Lakers win today would move them ahead of the Jazz for eighth place in the West. Bulls guard Derrick Rose has begun practicing but hasn’t returned after sustaining a torn ACL in his left knee last April.
