AT THE PLATE: The Dodgers scored all six runs in the fifth inning, including a three-run home run from Juan Uribe and run-scoring singles from Matt Kemp, Clayton Kershaw and Skip Schumaker. Kemp reached base in all three appearances, with two hits and a walk.
ON THE MOUND: Kershaw became the first Dodgers pitcher to work five innings this spring. He gave up two hits and one unearned run to lower his Cactus League earned-run average from 9.00 to 5.54.
EXTRA BASES: Kershaw has one run batted in in two at-bats, matching the Cactus League totals of Kemp (13 at-bats), Andre Ethier (12) and Adrian Gonzalez (17).
