The Los Angeles Lakers open NBA Las Vegas Summer League play at 4:30 p.m. Friday at Thomas & Mack Center against the Chicago Bulls.

The Lakers’ squad went 2-1 at the California Classic in Sacramento from July 1-3. Zach Norvell Jr., an undrafted shooting guard out of Gonzaga, made a game-winning three pointer on Wednesday in their last game.

The team’s top rookie, second-round draft selection Talen Horton-Tucker, a 6-foot-4 shooting guard out of Iowa State, missed the California Classic because of stress reaction in his right foot. He will be re-evaluated Friday before a decision is made about his availability in Las Vegas.

Two players from the Lakers’ G League affiliate, the South Bay Lakers, will play in Las Vegas: Marcus Allen, a 6-3 guard from Stanford, and Jeffrey Carroll, a 6-6 guard from Oklahoma State.

The rest of the roster: 6-7 forward Devontae Cacok, 6-7 forward Jordan Caroline, 6-1 guard Conner Frankamp, 6-10 forward Aric Holman, 5-11 guard Jordan Howard, 6-6 guard Jaron Johnson, 6-4 guard Dakota Mathias, 6-4 guard Codi Miller-McIntyre, 6-8 forward Nick Perkins and 6-2 guard Joe Young. David Wear, a 6-10 forward from UCLA and Santa Ana Mater Dei High, is also on the roster.

The Lakers also play at 8:30 p.m. Saturday vs. the Clippers, 8:30 p.m. Monday vs. Golden State and 6:30 p.m. Wednesday vs. New York. They are guaranteed at least one more game if they fail to qualify for the single-elimination tournament, which concludes on July 15.
