The Toronto Raptors declared Wednesday night Drake Night.

Neat — except isn’t pretty much any night the Raptors play at home Drake Night?

Apparently not, because the team has felt the need to formally honor its global ambassador, who also happens to be a superstar rapper, with his own special night the past several seasons.

So, before the Raptors’ played the Golden State Warriors at Air Canada Centre, Drake held a news conference. And at halftime he had some fun on court with a little kid.

And, of course, Drizzy was up to his usual antics from his courtside seat, as seen here trying to start trouble with his pal from the opposing team, Kevin Durant.

Then, while Durant was being interviewed on-air following the Warriors’ 127-121 victory, Drake bumped into his buddy, drawing an intense staredown from the Golden State star that may or may not have been for real.

Asked later in the same interview about the night’s non-basketball-related festivities, Durant responded, “I don’t give a damn about no damn Drake Night.”

I guess he won’t be taking home a complimentary Drake Night T-shirt.
