Twins-Indians rained out; doubleheader set Wednesday

CLEVELAND _ Tuesday’s game between the Twins and Indians has been rained out. A traditional doubleheader will take place Wednesday, starting at 4:10 p.m. EDT.tmpplchld The Twins are trying to surge, having won six of their last eight games. The problem is that Houston and the Angels have been winning, too. Houston ends the season on the road and the Angels have four games at Texas to end the season.tmpplchld Cleveland is five games back in the wild-card race, so a loss Wednesday coupled with a Houston win would officially eliminate the Tribe from wild-card contention.
