Update: The Galaxy has gone nearly a month without a win or a goal, falling out of the top spot in the Western Conference standings. Turning that around this weekend will be a challenge since the Galaxy is a conference-worst 2-5-7 on the road this season and has won just two of its last 13 games in Utah. Although the Galaxy leads the league with 49 goals, just 13 of those have come on the road, where it has the third-worst goal differential in the conference. Bruce Arena’s team is expected to be at full strength with the return of both central defender Leonardo and forward Gio dos Santos. Leonardo was suspended for last week’s draw with Montreal while Dos Santos was out the second half because of a groin strain. Real Salt Lake, which entered the weekend six points out of a playoff berth with six games to play, has won just twice since July. One of those wins came last weekend in Houston.
